Hello all, I have been away from the website for some time now, but have not forgotten about it and plan to make updates on it in the New Year. For now all of my time for writing is still being given over to my second book. More on that later on. But for now, I am delighted to announce that I won first place in the SUI’s (Speleological Union of Ireland) photography competition for Best Irish Cave Photo, last week. This one is from the fantastic but forgotten Sulphur / Sheepfold through trip in the Dartry hills in Leitrim. Shannon Caving Group revisted it last year. It looks very small on the mobile phone, but see if you can spot all five cavers! Lit by one large Meggaflash flash bulb, one small M3 bulb and a couple of electronic flashguns.
